The Fox Family
Founding the company in 1931 during the peak of the Depression, Virl O. Fox (often called V.O.) and his sister Blanche Fox-Resner, began working out of a garage on Palmwood Avenue in Toledo. Moving to larger quarters on Dorr Street prior to World War II, they added siding to their roofing service as V.O.'s four children joined the firm. In 1960, Virl Fox retired, leaving the second generation of Foxes to
carry on the business and eventually relocate in 1966 to again a more
expansive building on North Westwood Avenue, where the company has it's
current modern showroom and office utilities. "The Fox Family" continues to move the business well into
the next century offering homeowners quality products and superior workmanship
which has been the hallmark of their success. |
